To All Athletes 18 & Over:
The Southern California Gladiators, a semi-pro football team based out of Orange County California, is pleased to offer athletes the opportunity to earn a position on the Southern California Gladiators 2012 football team.
On February 11, 2012 the Gladiators will be hosting a “Kick-Off” meeting detailing the 2012 season plans and player requirements. The meeting is designed to give potential players an in depth view of the Southern California Gladiators football program. The meeting will take place at Esperanza High School, library, at 10:00am with a Q&A session to follow.
The first of 8 mini camps will be held on March 10, 2012 at Esperanza High School football field. The remaining mini camp dates are scheduled for March 24, April 7 & 21, May 5 & 19, and June 2 & 16, 2012. Players who participate in our mini camps will be evaluated on their specific football abilities. Each player will be tested on speed, power, agility, strength, athleticism and football ability via skills and position drills. Players selected from these mini camps, as determined by Gladiators scouting department, will automatically qualify for placement into the next phase of the tryout process. To be eligible for participation, each player must complete an online questionnaire and submit it to the Southern California Gladiators Football Team (www.socalgladiators.com). The questionnaire and the $40 mini camp fee must be received 10 business days prior to the mini camp date. All fees must be paid by cash, check, money order or online. Checks and money orders must be made payable to the Southern California Gladiators.
Upon receipt of the questionnaire and fee the athlete will receive confirmation as to their participation in the mini camp process. The athlete will receive their mini camp shirt and shorts set, (which must be worn at all mini camps), once they have checked in at camp.
It is pertinent that all athletes’ statistical and contact information is current. All participants must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Please feel free to contact us with any questions, concerns or additional information. The Southern California Gladiators look forward to your participation.
